Consumer Description

I took my 2019 Ford F-150 limited to Russell & Smith Ford to diagnose a loud ratel noise on cold start. Cause : Failed cam phasers. The truck has 68,250 mi and ford has this common problem with all 3.5L Ecoboost VCT cam phasers that have loud noise on cold start. If not repaired it can cause to engine failure, Ford has designed new VCT to solve the problem and issued a recall # 21n03 but I found out that they didn't include my truck vin # . I called Ford customer service and she told me that I qualified with the requirement and she con not explained why my vin # doesn't covered.
