NHTSA Complaint #11523839 — 2011 FORD F-150

The contact owns a 2011 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the service vehicle warning light and the check engine warning light illuminated. The contact stated he used an ODB code reader and retrieved diagnostic trouble code P0741. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who informed the contact that the vehicle was not included in TSB: 19N01 because the code was not the code stated in the TSB. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to file a complaint with the NHTSA Hotline. The failure mileage was approximately 217,000.
