Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2015 Ford Expedition. The contact stated that the fan switch failed to operate as designed. The contact stated that upon research, he became aware that the VIN was included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V648000 (Visibility, Electrical System) however, the parts to do the recall repair were not yet available. The dealer was contacted and confirmed that the parts were not available for the recall repair. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The approximate failure mileage 105,000. Parts distribution disconnect.
