Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2017 Hyundai Sonata. The contact stated while driving approximately 50 MPH, the vehicle lost motive power and failed to accelerate above 35 MPH. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was driven to the residence with the hazard lights activated. The vehicle was towed to a dealer where it was diagnosed that an unknown part needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 76,000.
