NHTSA Complaint #11518867 — 2015 ACURA TLX

The contact owns a 2015 Acura TLX. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle momentarily shifted into neutral and failed to immediately accelerate while depressing the accelerator pedal. The vehicle was taken to the local mechanic who was unable to determine the cause of the failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was offered. The contact was informed that the vehicle was not included in the NHTSA Campaign Number: 16V640000 (Power Train). The contact indicated that the vehicle had experienced the failure listed in the recall. The local dealer was not notified. The failure mileage was 56,000.
