The contact owns a 2019 Ford F-350. The contact stated that on various occasions, the rearview camera displayed a blurry image. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V644000 (Back Over Prevention); however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed that the rearview camera needed to be replaced; however, the part for the repair was on backorder. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 28,000.
