NHTSA Complaint #11518306 — 2018 RAM 2500

The contact owns a 2018 Ram 2500. The contact stated that the ABS warning light had illuminated on the instrument panel. The vehicle was taken to a dealer and the contact was informed that the ABS module needed to be replaced. The vehicle continued to experience the failure after the repair. The vehicle was taken back to the local dealer and the hydraulic control unit module was replaced; however, the failure persisted. The contact was then informed that the ABS control module needed to be replaced again. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and a complaint was filed. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 17,000.
