Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2014 Ram 1500. The contact stated that the check engine warning light was illuminated. While driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle was shaking violently. There was an abnormal fuel odor inside the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who was unable to duplicate the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who referred her to the dealer for assistance. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 187,000.
