NHTSA Complaint #11514614 — 2019 FORD F-150

The contact owns a 2019 Ford F-150. The contact stated that the reverse camera displayed a hazy and obscured view while the vehicle is in reverse. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed and determined that the camera needed to be replaced; however, the vehicle was not repaired. The contact believed that the failure was associated with NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V252000 (Back Over Prevention) however, the VIN was not included. The contact was informed that recalls were VIN specific. The manufacturer was notified and advised the contact to have the vehicle inspected at a dealer. The failure mileage was approximately 34,000.
