NHTSA Complaint #11513658 — 2015 CHEVROLET MALIBU

The contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet Malibu. The contact stated that the vehicle was designed with the Auto START/STOP feature. The contact stated while at a complete stop, the vehicle turned off, causing the electrical features to cease and the instrument panel lights to turn off. The dealer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The contact related the failure to TSB Number: 10-00-89-005. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 67,000.
