Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2014 Honda Accord. The contact stated that the vehicle failed to start up immediately, requiring several attempts before the vehicle would start up. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed that the starter needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The dealer was not notified of the failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and a case was opened. The failure mileage was approximately 39,000.
