NHTSA Complaint #11511585 — 2021 GMC YUKON

The contact owns a 2021 GMC Yukon. The contact stated that the vehicle failed to start. The vehicle was towed to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the fuel pump control module needed to be replaced; however, the replacement part was on backorder. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact that they would assist in expediting the replacement part. A case was opened with the manufacturer. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V739000 (Fuel System, Gasoline) however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The failure mileage was approximately 11,000.
