Consumer Description
The contact owns a 2013 Ford Fiesta. The contact stated while driving 20 MPH, the vehicle failed to accelerate properly. The contact stated that there was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic and the mechanic stated that the transmission needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted, and the manufacturer stated that there was no recall for the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline to file a complaint. The failure mileage was 100,000.
