Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2013 GMC Terrain. The contact stated that the vehicle was consuming an excessive amount of engine oil. Additionally, the check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was towed to the dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the engine needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 100,000.
