NHTSA Complaint #11507231 — 2020 RAM 1500

The contact owns a 2020 Ram 1500. The contact stated that upon entering the vehicle, he noticed that the interior of the vehicle was wet. The contact then stated that he noticed that the rear windshield was cracked, and water was leaking through the crack. The vehicle was taken to J Auto Ranch where it was diagnosed that the windshield plastic seal had cracked from the inside and the windshield needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The dealer and the manufacturer were notified of the failure and the contact was informed that the VIN was not included in a recall. The contact was advised to call the NHTSA Hotline. The failure mileage was 63,619.
