The contact owns a 2020 BMW X3. The contact stated that at night or during inclement weather while shifted in reverse, the rear-view camera displayed a distorted screen. No warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer however, the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact referenced NHTSA Campaign Number: 19V684000 (Back Over Prevention) as a possible fix for the failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and the contact was informed that the VIN was not included in a recall. The failure mileage was approximately 50,000.
