Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2010 Toyota Tacoma. The contact stated while having a routine service check, the independent mechanic noticed that the subframe underneath the vehicle was rusted. The dealer was contacted and stated that the vehicle needed to be diagnosed. The vehicle was not diagnosed. The manufacturer was contacted, and a case was filed. No further assistance was provided. The failure mileage was 160,000. The consumer is requesting the recall to be honored so the vehicle can be repaired or replaced at a reasonable rate.
