NHTSA Complaint #11693795 — 2010 TOYOTA TACOMA

My 2010 Toyota Tacoma frame is rusted and deteriorated. This has been confirmed by my local Toyota dealership (Ira Toyota of Saco , ME) The vehicle has approximately 130,000 miles and is in otherwise good working order. I do not expect a 15 year old Toyota to have a rusted frame, which has become entirely unsafe. Indeed, the Toyota dealership refused to even put the truck up on the lift given the unsafe condition of the frame . I understand that 2005 -2010 Tacoma trucks had this same issue and there was a class action on 21 May 2017. I also understand that the frame recall expired in 2022. Regardless, I contacted Toyota asking if they would still replace the frame and they responded in the negative. I have attached photos of the frame and a copy of Toyota’s response. Please advise.
