The contact stated that the trunk failed to open while pressing the unlock button on the rear door, the unlock button inside the vehicle, and the unlock button on the key fob. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact stated that there were groceries in the trunk, and he was unable to retrieve the groceries due to the failure. Additionally, the contact stated that the rearview camera was displaying a blank image intermittently while reversing. The vehicle was taken to the dealer. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V082000 (Back Over Prevention). The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 11,900.
