The contact made a local dealer aware of the failure; however, she was informed that parts for the repair were on backorder. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and was unable to confirm when the part would become available. The failure mileage was unknown. Parts distribution disconnect.
