NHTSA Complaint #11497592 — 2019 AUDI A7

The contact owns a 2019 Audi A7. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V155000 (Electrical System) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the fuel gauge was providing inaccurate reading and would indicate 650 miles to empty; however, after driving 2 miles, the fuel gauge indicated 600 miles to empty. There was no warning light illuminated. The local dealer was contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but provided no assistance.
