NHTSA Complaint #11496283 — 2019 HONDA ODYSSEY

The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic shop, where it was diagnosed that the distance calibration sensor needed to be replaced and that the vehicle was inoperable. The vehicle remained at the mechanic's shop awaiting the parts for the repair, which were on backorder. The contact made a local dealer aware of the failure and was advised to file a complaint with the NHTSA hotline. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was opened.
