Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2016 Ford Edge. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V413000 (Power Train). The contact stated that after starting the vehicle, the gear shifter seized and failed to shift out of park(P) with several unknown warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 45,000.
