Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2007 Honda Ridgeline. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V430000 (Structure). The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount time for the recall repair. The vehicle was taken to the dealer a month ago where it was diagnosed that the rear subframe was damaged due to corrosion and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the issue and the contact was informed of a possible repurchase the vehicle. The failure mileage was unknown. Parts distribution disconnect.
