NHTSA Complaint #11488730 — 2016 FORD EDGE

The contact owns a 2016 Ford Edge. The contact stated while his wife was driving 50 mph, she heard an abnormal noise. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact took the vehicle to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed with needing the transmission shift bushing to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired but while leaving the dealer, the contact continued to experience the failure. The contact drove back to the dealer and made them aware of the failure again. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact associated the failure with NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V413000 (Power Train). The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 68,000.
