NHTSA Complaint #11488210 — 2013 NISSAN ALTIMA

1. What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? ANSWER While opening all three of the passenger doors from the inside something internally inside the door has broken preventing all three of these doors to open from the inside. 2. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? ANSWER This is a safety risk because we are unable to open the door from the inside and if there were an accident we would not be able to exit the vehicle. 3. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center?ANSWER Yes, the problem has been confirmed by the dealer. 4. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? ANSWER No, the doors have not been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others. 5. Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? ANSWER No, there were no warning lights that came on warning me about this.
