Consumer Description
Good afternoon- Yesterday morning I was driving to work and had the defrost on. About 5 minutes later I starting smelling something burning. When I stopped at the gas station I noticed both sides of the rear window were all spiderwebbed/shattered, not the middle automatic one though. Can you please help? I’ve went to a dealership, called ford customer care and know one wants to help. This HAS TO BE A DEFECT, like a short in the rear defrost or something. Update-went to lindquist ford in Bettendorf, IA and service manager 100% confirmed without a doubt the window shattered due to a short in the rear defroster and said he sees this all the time.
