The contact owns a 2007 Honda Ridgeline. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V430000 (Structure). The contact stated that he noticed that the rear stabilizer bar on the driver’s side had failed, and the strut frame was rusted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact was concerned that the parts would fail while driving. The dealer was notified of the failure and an appointment was scheduled twice. The vehicle was taken to the dealer however, the contact was informed that the parts to do the repair was unavailable. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and confirmed that parts were available for the repair. The failure mileage was approximately 98,000.
