The contact took the vehicle to an independent mechanic where the parking brake was replaced; upon investigation, the contact linked the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 15V464000 (Parking Brake). The manufacturer had yet to be notified about the failure. The water pump had yet to be repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 95,000.
