The contact owns a 2008 Honda CR-V. The contact stated while pulling out a parking lot, she attempted to lock the doors to the vehicle however, the locks failed to operate as designed. The contact attempted to lock the doors unsuccessfully. The contact stated that she had received an unknown recall notification previously for Latches/Locks/Linkages and the vehicle was repaired under recall. The contact was unsure about the recall campaign information. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing and the contact was informed that the rear passenger’s side door failed to latch and the door latch needed to be replaced. The contact was informed that the recall had expired 11/7/2015. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 223,035.
