Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2017 Honda Pilot. The contact stated that while stopped in traffic with the Eco Assist System activated, the vehicle inadvertently shifted into neutral(N). The contact was able to restart the vehicle after several attempts. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 35,000.
