Consumer Description
The contact owns a 2015 Acura TLX. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle inadvertently shifted to park (P) and then stalled. The transmission warning light and several other unknown warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the transmission needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired and remained at the dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 60,000.
