Consumer Description
The contact owns a 2015 Ford Fusion. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle lunged forward during acceleration. Additionally, the vehicle made a squealing sound while the brake pedal was depressed. The contact related the failure to the transmission and braking system. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the mechanic replaced the body cam, overhead console, steering gear assembly, and rack and pinion. The failure recurred and the vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 81,252.
