NHTSA Complaint #11462191 — 2016 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500

The contact owns a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact stated while reversing out of the driveway and attempting to depress on the brake pedal, the brake pedal was rigid and failed to depress as needed. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact was able to roll to a stop independently. The contact stated he had experienced the failure three times. The contact called the local dealer and made them aware of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 16,000.
