NHTSA Complaint #11460662 — 2010 FORD FUSION

The contact owns a 2010 Ford Fusion. The contact stated that the ABS system was inoperable. The contact stated that there were no warning lights illuminated. The contact stated that the parking brake was needed to stop the vehicle. The contact also stated that the vehicle was leaking fuel. The contact stated that the fuel leak was evident whenever there was more than half of the fuel in the vehicle. The contact stated that after parking the vehicle overnight, there would be fuel on the ground underneath the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the contact was informed by the dealer that there was a glitch with his vehicle and there was nothing to be concerned about regarding the fuel pump. The contact stated that the dealer refused to service the vehicle. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and promised to call back however, the contact had not yet received the call back. The failure mileage was 260,000.
