Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2015 Chrysler 200. The contact stated while driving approximately 55 MPH, the vehicle started overheating, the transmission was slipping, and then the vehicle lost motive power. There were warning no lights illuminated on the instrument panel. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the engine needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 95,000.
