Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2014 Hyundai Elantra. The contact stated that while starting the vehicle, there was an abnormal ticking sound coming from the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer where it was diagnosed that an engine replacement was needed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted but no further assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 129,000.
