Consumer Description

The contact's sister owns a 2015 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that while his sister driving at an unknown speed, the vehicle began to jerk and hesitate upon depression of the accelerator pedal as an unknown warning message would appear on the instrument panel. His sister had taken the vehicle to an independent mechanic who informed her that the CVT transmission was defective. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed her that her vehicle was not covered under warranty. The vehicle had yet to be repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 260,000.
