NHTSA Complaint #11451519 — 2021 FORD F-150

The contact owns a 2021 Ford F-150. The contact stated while driving approximately 45 MPH at night, the low-beam headlights were very dim. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact took the vehicle back to his residence and noticed that both headlights were completely fogged over. The contact drove the vehicle to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed and the contact was informed that the fogging was normal. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure and the contact was informed that the headlamp fogging was normal. The failure mileage was approximately 597.
