Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2017 Chevrolet Malibu. The contact stated while driving at various speeds, the vehicle speed began to decelerate. The contact stated that engine power reduced warning light was illuminated. The contact parked on the side of the road for approximately 5-10 minutes before being able to drive to her destination. The contact stated she had to disconnect the battery to reset the software and warning light. The contact stated she had experienced the failure multiple times. The contact took the vehicle to the local dealer but was unable to duplicate the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 30,000.
