NHTSA Complaint #11435426 — 2010 CADILLAC SRX

The contact owns a 2010 Cadillac SRX. The contact stated while driving at various speeds, the vehicle would independently decelerate with the stabilitrak warning light illuminated. The contact pulled over and restarted the vehicle to resume normal driving. The contact then received a recall notification for NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V473000 (Suspension). The dealer was notified of the failure and acknowledged the recall; however, the part for the recall repair was not available. The contact was then given the option to have a diagnostic test performed on the vehicle which she declined. The manufacturer was also notified of the failure and offered to assist her with the failure. The contact was informed that she would receive a callback. The contact had yet to receive a callback from the manufacturer. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the repair.
