Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLC300. The contact stated that while his wife was driving at an undisclosed speed, the "Add 1 quart of oil" message was illuminated. The contact's wife did not pull over and continued driving while the "Stop driving" warning message was illuminated. The contact's wife was able to drive to the residence. The contact noticed there was a quart of oil on the floor from the engine compartment and detected a burning oil odor. The vehicle was towed to the dealer and the dealer replaced the O-ring. The vehicle was repaired but remained at the dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was unavailable.
