Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2012 Ford Edge. The contact stated that the latch on the driver’s side door failed to operate intermittently with the door ajar warning light illuminated. The vehicle was not been diagnosed nor repaired. A diagnostic test was scheduled but was still pending. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact to file a complaint with the NHTSA. The failure mileage was approximately 69,000.
