NHTSA Complaint #11429047 — 2011 CADILLAC SRX

The contact owns a 2011 Cadillac SRX. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle started shuddering with the "Service Stability Trak" message on the instrument panel. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The contact stated that the failure recurred while driving with an abnormal sound coming from the rear of the vehicle whenever the accelerator pedal was depressed. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V473000 (Suspension) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The dealer and the manufacturer were not notified of the failure.
