Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2014 Cadillac SRX. The contact stated that service rear axle message was displayed. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 21V473000 (Suspension) however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The contact called the local dealer who stated that the part was not yet available. The contact called Whiteside, Chevrolet, Buick, GMC (50714 National Rd E, St Clairsville, OH 43950, (740) 695-0211) who confirmed that parts were not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no further assistance was provided. The failure mileage was 38,000. VIN tool confirms parts not available.
