NHTSA Complaint #11426936 — 2011 DODGE RAM 1500

The contact owns a 2011 Ram 1500. The contact stated that on several occasions while driving at various speeds, the vehicle independently shut-off with several unknown warning lights illuminated. Additionally, the exterior lights would start flashing. The contact initially had the vehicle towed to a dealer where they replaced an unknown sensor however, the failure recurred after a while. The contact would reset the battery for the vehicle to restart. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 190,000.
