Consumer Description
The contact owns a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated that while the vehicle gear shifter was in park, the vehicle would move forward even when the emergency brake was engaged. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for the recall repair for the emergency brake, however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was then taken to an independent mechanic and was repaired but the failure persisted. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 180,000. VIN was unavailable.
