NHTSA Complaint #11421836 — 2008 HYUNDAI VERACRUZ

The contact owns a 2008 Hyundai Veracruz. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 20V705000 (Engine and Engine Cooling). The contact stated that while driving approximately 65 mph the vehicle stalled. The battery and engine warning indicator lights were illuminated. Additionally, the radio flickered. The vehicle was towed to the local dealer where diagnosed the battery needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired however the failure recurred. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 159,000.
