Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLE350. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 21V058000 (Communication, Electrical system). The contact called the local dealer and it was confirmed that they could not service the recall due to the software update being an over the air update. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and referred the contact back to the dealer. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.
