Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 KIA SOUL. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE HIS DAUGHTER WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 20 MPH, THERE WAS AN ABNORMAL TICKING SOUND COMING FROM THE VEHICLE. THE DRIVER PULLED OFF THE ROAD AND NOTICED THERE WAS NO OIL IN THE ENGINE. THE OIL LEVEL WARNING LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO RICK CASE KIA (14500 W SUNRISE BLVD, SUNRISE, FL 33323, (954) 715-7580) TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE ENGINE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE BUT DECLINED TO REPAIR THE VEHCILE. THE CONTACT STATED THE FAILURE WAS LIKE NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER 19V120000 (ENGINE, ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING) FOR WHICH THE VIN WAS INCLUDED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 83,000.
